My Fish Quilt Honoring Aunt Rosie Featured in the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative

I have some exciting news to share: my fish quilt, created in honor of my Aunt Rosie, was selected to be featured in the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI)! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! 🐟💙

This quilt is especially meaningful to me because it was created as a tribute to Aunt Rosie and the memories, love, and connections that inspire so much of what I create.

The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative was a wonderful program that brought together quilters from around the world to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research through the power of art quilts. Quilts were donated, displayed, and sold to support this important cause.

My fish quilt was selected for the 2600–2699 group under the sold quilts, and I am honored that this special piece found its place among so many beautiful and meaningful works of art.

Every quilt carries a story. Some are stories of family, some of friendship, and some of love and remembrance. This quilt will always hold a special place in my heart because it represents a beautiful way to honor someone I love.
